Not going forward

Sliding through the sea of clouds, my mind became like a piece of seaweed, floating from
one edge of fluffy white stuff to the next. I had no secret desire to become one that could soar amongst the clouds, yet here I was. I had doubts that it would let me go where I wanted, but to be forever here and not being able to land upon where I could, was just as frightening, as having the feeling that I was among the elite of having this bestowed upon me, as it were.

I felt no need to be here or there, but to just be here. It seemed the whole of the world was there looking up at me, as I was not paying attention, nor did I seem to care, but one part of me, wanted to be able to yell at them and ask, Can I ever get down from here? Of course, I could not have heard a reply, nor did it seem that I wanted to. Except that for in some recess of my mind, it was just on the edge of something like a cliff in wanting a part of it to have a means, or a justification of needing a requisition for me to achieve that part of me for a reason of need or want. It's there, but I can't reach it, nor does it come forward. And yet, here I am.

I know that I, along with my brothers, inherited some things from my dad, and am beginning  to wonder if I have inherited(?) a couple from mom.  It might also just be from other things going on in my life right now.  I used to be able to sleep all morning, but now I can't seem to sleep any longer than 5 or 6 hours.

I think most of us have days that are so good they make you want to say,"I want this day to never stop".  But the other side of the coin, for a lot of us right now is, "Will this day ever end".  Some people have it and some don't.  I sit here and watch those morning talk shows and what may seem amazing to some, in that I didn't think of if, is more or less just good old plain common sense.

The ways and means of how you make your life, is for more than a couple million of us, just not enough.  Some of us have "faith" in what they see or read, in that they either hope or just in passing have a moment of "Gee what if this happens" kind of day.  If you feel what I feel, then it will all be a good thing.

Take care, and once again, see you dot com'ers around the corner.

One Thursday

Here it is another fourth day of the week, and I am wanting to get outside and preen and prune stuff, but alas, I have so much to do with the inside first.  I was outside for a while trying to get the snow off the porch and get the rugs that I had put there to get a freshening of the warm couple of days that was happening upon me here.  I was either fortunate or unfortunate to not have been here, when the white stuff hit, but am happy with the moisture left, but not to happy with the cold for I had just planted a few strawberry and many red onions plants.  I planted some ever bearing strawberry's last weekend and then it snowed on them.  I was despaired at the fact that I would have to either let them try to survive or get way to purchasing more and see them hopefully take sprout and grow.  I did the latter, and now once again it has snowed and turned cold.  I have come to the conclusion that if anything grows, it will do me just fine, and if nothing grows, so be it.

I will be posting other items of interest rather than give lump sums of what my day was like here on the flat lands of the mid west.  I still don't know how "they" came up with the mid west as being part of Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Ohio, Iowa, and any other states that seem to fall into that area.  I will do a little parchment on that with my next posting.

Take care all you dot com'rs... until the we meet again.
